As a creator, publishing is free for text, links, and files within your storage allowance — you only need a small amount of USDC if you upload past it.

How do I get USDC on Solana?

The easiest way is to buy USDC on a centralised exchange (Coinbase, Kraken, Binance, etc.) and withdraw it to your Solana wallet address. Make sure to select the Solana network when withdrawing, not Ethereum or other chains. Alternatively, if you already hold SOL or other Solana tokens, you can swap them for USDC inside Phantom or Solflare using their built-in swap feature. You also need a tiny amount of SOL (less than $0.01 worth) in the same wallet to cover Solana network fees.

Monerixa supports any Solana-compatible wallet: Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, and more. Ledger hardware wallets work when connected through a supported wallet app (e.g. Phantom or Solflare). Make sure you have a compatible wallet extension or mobile app installed, and that you have SOL (for gas) and USDC on the correct network.

No — publishing is free. Text and links are always free, and every file upload is free while you are under your storage allowance (250 MB on the free tier, 5 GB on Creator, 25 GB on Pro). You only ever pay the 5% platform fee when something actually sells. The single exception is when an upload would push you past your storage allowance — then that file carries a small one-time fee by size (see below). Most creators never hit it.

What is the over-allowance upload fee?

A small non-refundable USDC fee that applies only once an upload pushes you over your free storage allowance. Every wallet gets a cumulative file-storage allowance — 250 MB free, 5 GB on the Creator plan, 25 GB on Pro — and while you are under it, every upload is free regardless of size. Text and links are always free. Once an upload would take you over your allowance, it carries a one-time fee by size: up to 25 MB costs $0.02; up to 50 MB $0.05; up to 100 MB $0.10; up to 250 MB $0.25; up to 500 MB $0.50; up to 1 GB $1.00; up to 2 GB $2.00; up to 5 GB $5.00. Per-file upload size is capped by plan (250 MB free, 1 GB on Creator, 5 GB on Pro), so the larger tiers only apply to plan holders. This is a one-time cost per paywall, not per buyer. It covers storage and prevents spam. Active paid-plan holders (Creator or Pro) get 25% off these fees.

How does the free storage allowance work?

Each wallet has a cumulative file-storage allowance: 250 MB on the free tier, 5 GB on Creator ($3/yr), and 25 GB on Pro ($12/yr). It is measured across all your live paywalls. As long as your total stored files stay under your allowance, every upload is free — no matter the individual file size (up to the per-file ceiling). When an upload would push your total over the allowance, that upload (and larger ones after it) carries the one-time size fee. Deleting old paywalls frees the space back up. Text and link paywalls use negligible storage and never count against the allowance.

Is the over-allowance upload fee refundable?

No. Over-allowance upload fees are non-refundable regardless of paywall performance or content removal. This is the anti-spam mechanism.

What happens if publishing fails after I pay an upload fee?

The fee is never lost. If the publish step fails after your payment confirms on-chain, Monerixa automatically saves your fee transaction. The next time you visit the create page with an upload of the same creation fee, it is detected and applied automatically — no second charge.

Why does my wallet ask me to sign something when I upload?

When publishing free content (text, links, or any file under your storage allowance with no fee), your wallet asks you to sign a short message to prove you own the wallet address. This is a signature, not a transaction, so no gas is charged and no funds move. It is a security step that prevents someone from publishing content under a wallet address they do not control. Paid uploads (where an over-allowance fee is charged) are authenticated by the on-chain fee transaction itself and do not require a separate signature.

After creating a paywall, you get a unique URL in the format monerixa.com/<id>. Copy it from the success screen or your Dashboard and share it anywhere: social media, email, Discord, a blog post, etc. Anyone with the link can view the paywall and pay to unlock the content.

Can I see how many people bought my content?

Yes. Your Dashboard shows per-paywall stats including total views, total payments, and revenue. You can also see individual transactions on-chain via Solscan by searching your wallet address.

How do I get notified when someone buys my content?

Monerixa does not currently send email or push notifications for sales. You can monitor your Solana wallet for incoming USDC transactions in real time using Phantom, Solflare, or Solscan alerts. We plan to add native sale notifications in a future update.

How long does my paywall stay active?

Accepted Answer

Paywalls stay active indefinitely while they are selling. A paywall is automatically removed 60 days after its last sale (or 60 days after creation if it has never sold). Content uploaded under a Creator plan gets 180-day retention, and Pro gets 365-day. Every new sale resets the clock, so active paywalls never expire. There is no creator-set expiry or duration to configure.

Pro ($12/year): everything in Creator, plus uploads up to 5 GB, 25 GB of free storage, 365-day retention, 20 free uploads a day, remove Monerixa branding from your pages, a custom paywall page (bio, banner, accent color), and advanced analytics with revenue CSV export. Both paid plans are annual, paid once in USDC, and granted to the wallet that pays — no auto-renewal.

It also removes Monerixa branding from your paywall pages, lets you customize them with a bio, banner image, and accent color, and unlocks advanced analytics including a revenue CSV export for accounting and taxes. The 25% fee discount and discount codes are the same on both paid tiers.

Can I create discount codes for my buyers?

Yes — any active Creator or Pro plan lets you self-manage discount codes from your Dashboard under Coupons. You can create percentage or flat-amount discounts on over-allowance upload fees, set usage limits and expiry dates, and restrict a code to specific content types.

How long does buyer access last?

Access lasts for the paywall's retention window from the time of purchase. Standard paywalls give buyers 60 days of access from their purchase. Paywalls created under a Creator plan give buyers 180 days, and Pro gives 365 days. Within that window, buyers can download as many times as they like without re-paying.

Can a buyer share the download link?

No. Downloads use a short-lived access token tied to the buyer's payment. The token is issued after on-chain verification and expires with the buyer's access window. There is no permanent shareable download URL.

Can I edit my content after uploading?

You can edit the title, description, and price at any time from the Dashboard. The underlying file, text, or link cannot be changed. Create a new paywall for a new version.

Can I delete my paywall?

Yes, from the Dashboard. However, if a buyer has purchased within the last 24 hours, deletion is temporarily blocked to give them time to download what they paid for. The dashboard will show the exact time when deletion becomes available. Files are removed from disk once no other paywall references them.

Can I download content multiple times?

Yes, as many times as you want within your access window. Each download is authenticated by your access token, which is valid for your full access period. Once your access expires, downloads are no longer available, but any files you already saved locally are yours to keep permanently.

If a creator deletes a paywall within 24 hours of your purchase, deletion is temporarily blocked to give you time to download. After that window, files may be removed. We strongly recommend downloading files immediately after purchase rather than relying on re-access later.

Every uploaded file is stored on our servers and protected by access control. Access is restricted to buyers who have completed a verified on-chain payment.

What is the QR code payment option?

The QR code option lets you pay from your phone without connecting a wallet to the website. Click "Pay from phone (scan QR)" on any paywall, scan the QR code with a supported wallet app, and approve the transaction. The page unlocks automatically once your payment confirms on-chain.

Which wallets support QR code payment?

Only Phantom and Solflare are supported for QR payments. They implement the full Solana Pay spec including USDC transfers. Backpack and other wallets do not support USDC Solana Pay QR codes and will show an error. If your phone opens the wrong wallet automatically, install Phantom or Solflare instead.

QR codes expire after a set time to prevent stale payments. Simply click "Regenerate" on the paywall page to get a fresh QR code and try again. No payment was taken if the code expired before you confirmed.

I paid via QR but the page did not unlock.

Keep the paywall page open — it checks for your payment automatically every few seconds. If it still has not unlocked after a minute, visit /recover and paste your Solana transaction signature (find it in your wallet's transaction history) to recover access instantly.

Can I re-access content I paid for via QR?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but you will need to connect the wallet you paid from. When you scan the QR and pay, the wallet on your phone becomes your key to that content. To re-access it later, go to Dashboard → Purchases, connect that same wallet (using Phantom, Solflare, or Backpack), and your purchase will appear there. You cannot re-access QR-paid content without connecting the paying wallet, so make sure you remember which wallet you used.

What is the /recover page?

The recovery page is a self-service tool for buyers who paid but did not receive access, for example if the browser closed mid-verification or the network dropped. It lets you re-submit your Solana transaction signature to instantly recover your access token without contacting support.

How do I find my transaction signature?

Open your Solana wallet (Phantom, Backpack, Solflare, etc.) → Transaction History → find the USDC payment → tap it to open the detail view. The transaction ID (also called signature) is the long string of letters and numbers, typically 87–88 characters. In Phantom, you can tap the Solscan link icon to open the transaction on Solscan — the signature appears in the URL after /tx/. Alternatively, go to solscan.io, search your wallet address, filter by USDC transfers, and find the payment matching the amount you paid.

How long does recovery take?

Recovery is near-instant if your payment is already recorded in the platform's database. If not, the platform fetches and verifies the transaction on-chain, which takes a few seconds. The recover endpoint is rate-limited to 10 requests per 10 minutes per IP.

Can recovery fail even if I paid?

Recovery will fail if: (1) the transaction failed on-chain (no USDC transferred), (2) the transaction was created outside the Monerixa payment flow and has no memo binding, (3) the transaction was for a different paywall, or (4) the content has since been deleted. If recovery fails and you believe your payment is valid, contact support@monerixa.com with your transaction signature.

What types of files are blocked?

For the safety of our buyers, we block the upload of executable files and scripts. This includes Windows executables (.exe, .msi, .bat), system scripts (.sh, .vbs, .ps1), and source code files (.py, .js, .php). If you are a developer selling code, we recommend using the "Text Content" option to paste your snippets directly, or packaging your project into a standard .zip archive (which is allowed and securely scanned for malware).

CSAM, illegal material, malware, adult/sexually explicit content, and content that violates intellectual property law are prohibited. Violating content is permanently removed. Creator wallets may be banned. See the report page for the full list of report categories.

No. Monerixa prohibits all sexually explicit or pornographic material, including explicit images, videos, and text content intended for sexual arousal. Are file uploads scanned for malware?

Yes. All uploaded files are automatically scanned for malware before being made available to buyers. Content remains in a "pending" state during scanning and cannot be purchased until the scan completes. If malware is detected, the content is removed.

Yes. Text paywalls are automatically checked against our content policy before the upload is accepted. Content that violates severe policy categories (threats, CSAM-related material, instructions for self-harm) is blocked before any creation fee is charged. Does Monerixa hold my funds?

No. Monerixa is a non-custodial platform. All buyer-to-creator payments are peer-to-peer transactions on the Solana blockchain. Your transaction is constructed in your browser, signed by your own wallet, and broadcast directly to Solana. Monerixa never holds, routes, or processes your funds. It only reads the on-chain result to grant content access.

Can I get a refund?

No. All payments on Monerixa (content purchases and creation fees) are final and non-refundable. Because payments are direct on-chain transfers between wallets, they are technically irreversible once confirmed. If you paid but did not receive access (browser closed, network error, etc.), visit /recover to recover your access token using your transaction signature. See the Refund Policy for full details.

I paid for content but the page didn't unlock. What do I do?

This can happen if your browser closed or the connection dropped after your USDC transfer confirmed on-chain but before the server received verification. Your payment is not lost. Visit /recover, paste your Solana transaction signature (find it in your wallet's transaction history or on Solscan), and your access will be recovered instantly. Rate limited to 10 attempts per 10 minutes.

Can I recover a payment I made outside of Monerixa?

No. The recovery system only works for payments initiated through the official Monerixa payment interface at monerixa.com. Every transaction created through the platform carries a cryptographic memo instruction that binds it to a specific paywall and payment session. Transactions sent directly from a wallet app, through a third-party tool, or by any other means will not have this binding and cannot be verified or attributed by the platform. Always pay through the paywall page — never send USDC directly to a creator's wallet.

What are my tax obligations?

You are solely responsible for determining and fulfilling your tax obligations arising from transactions on the platform, including income tax, GST, and TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) where applicable. Because all buyer-to-creator payments are peer-to-peer blockchain transactions and Monerixa does not intermediate these payments, Monerixa does not deduct TDS or collect GST on your behalf. Consult a qualified tax professional for guidance specific to your situation.

What happens if I lose access to my wallet?

Monerixa cannot recover lost or stolen wallets, restore access, or reverse transactions. Your wallet's private key or seed phrase is the only way to recover access. Never share your seed phrase with anyone, not even Monerixa support. Always back it up securely offline.
